    Awards ceremony puts spotlight on SSA seniors
    The St. Scholastica Academy 2008 graduating seniors received awards at the end of the 2007-08 school year. A reflection of the Class of 2008 was given by senior class president Andrea D'Aquin with graduating senior mom Debbie Glockner Ferrari, class of '68, and SSA alumnae leading the pledge inducting seniors as alumnae. Marguerite Celestin gave the president's message and Mary Kathryn Villere shared the principal's message. Carol Pool, director of guidance, presented awards while Jennifer Grimley, dean of academics, assisted with the awards presentations. SSA received the Louisiana State University Golden Achievement Award. The first-time award indicates excellence in educational quality of students, schools and faculty.
